With Outlook Express open, up at the top, click on Tools and then go down and click on Accounts. |

In the window that pops up, click select the tab called All, click the "Add" button, and select "Mail" as in the picture below. |

A "Wizard" will begin to assist you in setting up your new account. In this first screen, enter your real name in the "Display Name" box. Click "Next" |

In this next screen, enter your email address. Click "Next". |

In this screen, select "POP3" for "My Incoming Mail Server is a ... server". Enter your incoming and outgoing mail server names (provided by MIS), in the appropriate boxes, and click "Next". |

In the "Internet Mail Logon" screen, enter your username and password. Make sure "Log on using secure password authentication" is unchecked, and click "Next". |

You are finished. Click the "Finish" button to complete setup. If you need to set up more email accounts, just repeat the process starting from step 1 for each email account. |

You must now configure outlook to use SMTP Authentication to send email. To do this, follow the instructions located here. |
