Launch Microsoft Entourage (it is part of the Office 2001 Suite).

1. Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Accounts".

2. The Entourage Setup Wizard will come up to help configure your account.

3. Enter your name and click the right arrow

Enter your contact information in this screen and click the right arrow

 

Enter your business information in this next screen and click the right arrow

In the next screen, select "I want to start using Entourage without importing anything" and click the right arrow

In this screen, you can select or not select the "Junk Mail filter" feature of Entourage. Then click the right arrow.

Enter the name you want to appear in the "From" field of your emails and click the right arrow

In this screen, select "I already have an email address that I'd like to use" and enter your email address in the box, then click the right arrow.

In this screen, choose "POP" for "My incoming mail server is a(n)" and enter the names of your incoming and outgoing mail servers in the boxes below (the server names are scully.mintsol.com). Click the right arrow.

In this next screen, enter your email username and password and click the right arrow.

You are now done! Just enter a name for this account (any name of your choosing) and click "Finish".

Click Finish.

Now click the "Tools" menu and select "Accounts"

An "Accounts" window will pop up showing the accounts you've set up, listed by the Account name you selected when you first configured the account. Highlight the account you gust created and click "Edit"

You need to set up SMTP authentication, click on the button which says "Click here for advanced sending options" under "Sending Mail". A window will pop up like the one below.

Check "My SMTP server requires authentication" and "Use same settings as incoming mail server". Click OK as needed to close out your open dialog boxes, and you are done.
