Outlook Express Mac Edition

Start Outlook Express. Click on the "Tools" menu, and select "Accounts" You'll see a window similar to the below:

       
 

Highlight your MIS email account and click the "Edit Button". You'll see a new window, like in the example window below:

       
 

Click the button that reads "Click here for advanced sending options", and you'll see a new little window like this:

       

Check "SMTP Server requires authentication" and "Use same settings as incoming mail server".

Close the window and click OK to close out open dialog boxes, and you are done.
